Two times at Incarnate Word Kerwin was named NAIA All-American, in 1995 and 1996.  He continues as the all-time UIW leader in points scored (239) and goals scored (99), marks that some say will never be topped.  He played on the US National B Team, and played in the 1997 Umbro All-Star Game.  After leaving UIW, he played professionally in Germany and then was invited to training camp with two different MLS sides.    He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1998.

Kerwin has held management positions with several corporations including his current position with Cingular Wireless.  In the community, he has concentrated his activities with the DARE program, the Red Cross, the Healy Murphy Fund and at the Battered Women’s Shelter.
