Established in 2023, the Tartan Society stands as the exclusive philanthropic giving society dedicated to UIW Athletics. Members of the Tartan Society have the chance to further impact UIW Athletics through a multi-year commitment of support. Participation in the Tartan Society provides a more stable and consistent source of annual funding for the entire athletics program, allowing us the flexibility to strategically invest in the resources that make it possible to offer a world-class experience for every Cardinal student-athlete.
As the intercollegiate athletics landscape continues to evolve, annual support remains vital for our athletics program and its 25 varsity programs. This support encompasses a range of initiatives, including facility enhancements, nutrition, expansion of academic support services, leadership development programming, and enhanced travel and recruiting budgets. Our commitment lies in fostering a championship culture - in the classroom, on the fields of competition and in our community. The achievements of our student-athletes would not be possible without the generosity of our dedicated alumni and friends. That spirit of "all-in" friendship has been, and continues to be, fundamental to our success.
Multi-Year Commitment Levels
Members of the Tartan Society make a commitment of at least $5,000 or more that is fulfilled over a five-year period ($1,000 per year). Members of the Tartan Society are invited to enjoy unique stewardship opportunities.
