University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

David Moore qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials in the 200-yard individual medley at the American Short Course Championships last week.  He is this week's UIW Male Athlete of the Week for his performance.  He is eligible for the UIW Male Athlete of the Year award that is voted on by UIW coaches and sports administrators.

This is the third time that Moore has been named the UIW Male Athlete of the Week.  He swam a time of 2:03.92 in the 200 IM at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in the prelims of the meet.  It was the top time of the day in the event.

Moore is a junior marketing major from San Antonio.  He attended Marshall High School.
