2015-16 (Junior): Moore had an impressive junior year with the Cardinals as he was named one of the CCSA's Scholar All-Americans and broke his own school record in the 400 IM at the CCSA Championship meet with a time of 3:45.24. Moore also competed in the Olympic Trials in both the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Moore had a terrific sophomore season for the Cardinals. He earned CCSA Swimmer of the Week honors twice during the season. He also earned all-CCSA honors in the 200 butterfly, 200 individual medley and 400 individual medley and was named to the CCSA All-Academic team. Â He was an honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-American. He had an outsanding UIW Christmas meet as he finished in first place in the 200 breaststroke and 100 butterfly and finished second in the 100 backstroke and 500 freestyle. In the CCSA championships, he won the 400 individual medley and the 200 butterfly and was second in the 200 individual medley. Â During this meet, he posted his best times in the 400 IM (3:49.10) and the 200 IM (1:47.00). Â He also finished second in the CSCAA championships in the 200 breaststroke, the 200 IM and the 400 IM.Â
2013-14 (Freshman): Â Moore had an outstanding season earned CCSA Freshman of the Year and CCSA Freshman of the Meet honors. Â He swam the four fastest 400-yard individual medley times in school history with his best performance coming at the University of Texas Invitational when he touched the wall in 3:47.16. Â He began his career by winning the 400 IM against Texas A&M. Â He won the 200 butterfly and 200 IM Â and finished second in the 500 freestyle at UC-San Diego. Â At the CCSA championships he was second in the 200 fly in 1:47.61, third in the 200 IM (1:47.08) and first in the 400 IM (3:47.93). Â Over the course of the season he recorded 13 top three finishes in individual races.
High School: Â Moore was on the swim team at John Marshall High School where he was an All-State First team swimmer and a State Champion. He was the team captain and currently holds five school records. He was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal:Â Moore is the son of John and Marnell Moore and has a brother, Matthew and a sister, Michelle. He is studying marketing and was born on September 17, 1994. His mother played basketball at St. Mary's.
