Incarnate Word played but one basketball game in the time November 24 to November 30 and Kyle Hittle put an emphasis on that fact by missing but one shot from the field.  He is the UIW male athlete of the week.
 
In the 22-point victory Hittle was eight of nine from the field.  His only miss was on a three-pointer—he was 4-5 from long distance.  And he missed once at the free throw line going two of three.  All totaled he scored 22 points.
 
Across the final stats sheet he had five rebounds which were second for the Cardinals to go with five assists, one block and a team high three steals.  He played 37 of the available 40 minutes.
 
Hittle is a 6-5 junior guard from New Braunfels High School.  He is studying finance at Incarnate Word.  He has been on the conference academic honors list his entire time at UIW.
 
He will be on the ballot next May when UIW coaches and athletic administrators vote for a male athlete of the year.
