University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Right handed pitcher Trevor Hardee was selected as the Incarnate Word Male Athlete of the Week for his impressive work in the Cardinals against Prairie View A&M and McNeese State.  He is now eligible for the UIW Male Athlete of the Year award that is voted on by UIW coaches and sports administration.

Hardee made three appearances on the mound for the baseball team.  He tossed 3.0 shutout inning of relief at Prairie View A&M to earn his first save of the season.  He pitched a 1-2-3 inning against McNeese State in the series opener on Friday.  He ended the week by earning a win against the Cowboys.  He pitched 3.0 innings allowing one run and two walks to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Hardee is a junior business administration major from Alvord, TX where he attended Alvord High School.
