Played varsity for two seasons… put up serious numbers on both offense, as a tight end, and defense, as a defensive lineman… finished senior season 17 catches for 378 yards and eight touchdowns while recording 51 total tackles, five in the backfield, and three sacks… forced two fumbles and recovered one of them as a senior in just nine games played.

Played on both sides of the ball in high school… started at quarterback on offense while occupying the defensive backfield on defense… as a QB, threw for 2,418 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior while rushing for 1,059 and 12 more scores on the ground… on defense, recorded one interception, returning it for a 37-yard gain… also returned kicks when called upon in high school, returning a kickoff for a touchdown during junior season.
