Twenty-plus points both nights and some lights-out shooting propelled Kyle Hittle to Incarnate Word’s male athlete of the week for November 11 to November 17.
 
The 3-0 Cardinals won two games in that time frame and Hittle led the team with 23 and 21 respectively.  In the process he shot 15-25 from the field for .600 including being 8-12 from beyond the arc for .667.  And he was 6-7 at the stripe for .887.
 
Against Huston-Tillotson he had a double-double with the 21 points and a team high 11 rebounds.  He also led the squad that night with five assists and two steals.
 
Hittle is a sophomore guard from New Braunfels High School and he is studying business administration at UIW where he will be nominated for athlete of the year when Cardinals coaches and athletic administrators vote next May.
