University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Jazmine Holman was a team leader during a two-game road basketball trip for Incarnate Word and she is the female athlete of the week for the period February 23 to March 1.
 
At S. F. Austin she led the Cardinals in rebounds, assists and steals.  Those numbers included her career high 12 rebounds.
 
For the week she averaged 8.0 points and shot an impressive .727 from the field on eight makes in 11 attempts.  She also averaged 9.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 steals.
 
Holman is a 5-8 freshman guard from Arlington’s Bowie High School.  She is studying psychology at Incarnate Word.  This is the second time this year for her to be female athlete of the week and she will be on the ballot when in May coaches and athletic administrators name a female athlete of the year.
