University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

This week’s UIW Female Athlete of the Week is Camille Guerre of the synchronized swimming team.  Guerre came in first in A Figures against the University of Florida this past weekend. She is now in the running for UIW Female Athlete of the Year award which is chosen by the UIW coaches and the sports administration.
 
Guerre showed strengths in sharpness and flexibility to take first place in A Figures earning 77.1007 points.  She teamed with Beatriz Regly to take second in the Duet Free routine with 76.2333 points.  She was part of the winning Trio Free routine along with Regly and Sarah Cooke earning 77.4667 points.  Finally, Guerre and the Cardinals dominated the Team Free routine with 76.6 points.
 
Guerre is a freshman mathematics major from Aix en Provence, France.
