Quincy Baker

It only took 18 minutes of action to give Quincy Baker the nod as this week’s UIW Female Athlete of the Week.  She was the spark off the bench that the women’s basketball team needed to win their third game of the season.  Baker is now eligible for the UIW Female Athlete of the Year award that is voted on by UIW coaches and sports administration at the end of the school year.

Against Howard Payne, Baker was quick to post the first double-double of her career.  Not only did she score a season high 13 points, but she also added ten rebounds.  Baker went 5-of-6 from the field and made 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.
 
Baker is a sophomore from Houston, TX and is studying biology.
