University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

Beau Fusilier won three individual events and was runner-up in a relay at the UC San Diego swim meet last week and he is the co-UIW Male Athlete of the Week.  He is now eligible for UIW Male Athlete of the Year honors that are voted on by UIW coaches and sports administrators.
 
Fusilier was a big reason why the Cardinals defeated UCSD in a dual meet on the road.  He opened the meet by anchoring the second place 400-yard medley relay team with a split of 46.75.  He set the pool record in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:02.73.  He was the only person to win three individual events at the meet.
 
Fusilier is a freshman from Georgetown, Texas who is studying rehabilitative sciences.
