Maddy Buhler

Maddy Buhler led the Cardinals to a come from behind victory in the Hawks Creek Invitational, which is why she is this week’s UIW Female Athlete of the Week.  She is now on the ballot for the UIW Female Athlete of the Year award.  That honor will be voted on by the UIW Coaches and Athletic Administrators.

Buhler fired three rounds in the 70’s at the Hawks Creek Invitational hosted by Texas
Wesleyan.  Her final round of even par 72 led the Cardinals back from a 10-stroke deficit in the final round to win the tournament.  She tied for individual medalist honors and officially finished second after losing in the playoff.

Buhler is a senior from Victoria, TX where she graduated from St. Joseph’s High School.  She is currently pursuing a degree in business administration.
