Fencing Adds 13 to MPSF All-Academic Team 

SAN ANTONIO- The University of the Incarnate Word men's and women's fencing team named a total of 13 student-athletes to the MPSF Fencing All-Academic team. The Cardinals yet again proved to show true excellence on and off the mats. 

To be recognized for this prestigious award, student-athletes had to meet tough criteria. Those named maintained a 3.00 GPA or better, they must have spent a full academic year at the institution, they must be an academically standing sophomore, and they must have competed in fifty percent or more competitions throughout the entire season. Student-athletes named showed great values of time management for their institution.
