Biography

2023-24 (Junior): Named to the MPSF Fencing All-Academic Team. She was named the MPSF Fencer of the Week after going 13-3 in women's epee against Cleveland State, Lawrence and Fairleigh Dickinson. Against ranked teams, No. 8 Northwestern and No. 13 Ohio Stata, Gaafar picked up three wins. 

2022-23 (Sophomore): Finished in the top ten for the Women's Epee at the NCAA West Regionals...was named to the MPSF Fencing All-Academic team.

2021-22 (Freshman): Took home gold in the MPSF Championships for Epee..took home fourth in NCAA Regionals..selected to the MPSF All-Conference First Team...was fifth in the World Rankings in the 2021 season...took home twelfth place in Junior World Championships...fourth place finish in the team divisions at Junior World Championships..

High School: Attended Port Said American School...in 2020 was the African Champion in junior, cadet and teams divisions...in 2019 was the African Champion in cadet division...took home Third Place in teams division...at Senior African games took home First Place in teams..also took Third Place in cadet circuit teams

Personal: Born in Cairo, Egypt....pursuing double major in International Business and Marketing...
