SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team will look to grab its sixth win over the last eight games against SFA on Saturday at the McDermott Center.
The game is the second of the Military/Community Appreciation Doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, where the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free UIW replica court towel.
"We're excited to be playing at home against an NCAA tournament-caliber team," Cardinals coach Carson Cunningham said. "Stephen F. Austin is obviously a very tough outfit that presents a mighty challenge. Coach Keller has them playing at a high level and SFA deserves credit for pushing the rest of the league to up its game. We are eager to compete and to build upon the progress we've been making. We're gonna battle."
