FRISCO, Texas -- The Southland has revealed the conference portion of its 2026-27 men's basketball schedule, with the University of the Incarnate Word set to begin its 22-game slate on Dec. 5.

The Cardinal men will both begin and end their SLC run with back-to-back road games. UIW's conference opener will be at Southeastern Louisiana on Dec. 5, with a trip to face three-time defending SLC champion McNeese to take place two days later.

The Cardinals will close the regular season with consecutive in-state road games against Lamar on Feb. 27 and Stephen F. Austin March 1.

The first of 11 conference home games will be played on Dec. 19 against Nicholls, with the last coming against Northwestern State Feb. 22.

UIW will play four consecutive games at home from Jan. 30 to Feb. 8, facing off against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (Jan. 30), Houston Christian (Feb. 1), McNeese (Feb. 6) and Southeastern Louisiana (Feb. 8) in that time frame.
