Biography
2020-21 (Sophomore): A Southland All-Conference second team selection, NABC All-District first team selection and an Academic All-Conference selection led the Cardinals to their first Southland Conference Tournament berth in program history…started in all 20 games he appeared in…led the Cardinals in field goals (125-for-294), 3-point field goals (41-for-112) and free throws (88-for-116), points (379) rebounds (90) and steals (24)…set the sixth-best single-season mark with an average of 19.0 points per game, and finished second in the league in scoring…finished the season shooting 42.5% from the floor, 36.6% from 3-point range and 75.9% at the free throw line…ranks sixth in UIW history with 344 3-point attempts and eighth in scoring average (15.5), 3-point field goals made (122) and minutes average (32.0)…scored in double figures in 19 games including a career-high 34 points, nine assists and 12-for-12 in free throws against McMurry on Dec. 31…converted a career-high seven 3s against McNeese on Jan. 13…scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in first round of the SLC tournament against Houston Baptist on March 9.

2019-20 (Freshman): The Southland Conference Freshman of the Year appeared in all 31 games with 27 starts…led the team in field goals (133-for-358), 3-point field goals (81-for-232), 3-point field goal percentage (.349) and points (412)…scored over 20 points in five games, including a career-best 28 points against Central Arkansas (12/18)…scored 24 points against Lamar (1/22), and 23 points three times, against McNeese and Houston Baptist (twice).

High School:Â Averaged 21.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.5 assists per game during senior year at Sulphur Springs High School...helped lead team to a 30-10 overall record and a spot in the Texas Class 5A regional finals...won all-region and all-state honors...achieved a straight-A academic record throughout high school...played for coach Clark Cipoletta.
Personal: The son of Lonnie and Leanne Willis of Sulpher Springs, Texas…father, Lonnie, played basketball at Stephen F. Austin…mother, Leanne, played at Paris (Texas) Junior College.
Coach Cunningham said: "We're thrilled to call Keaston a Cardinal. He helped lead Sulphur Springs to an historic deep run into the state playoffs, all the way to the Alamodome. The young man is strong and can shoot the apple. In addition to the hoops program, he was attracted to UIW's world-class health sciences."
