UIW men’s basketball set for Saturday showdown against SIU-Edwardsville

SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team continues its homestand against the Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Cougars at 1 p.m. (CT) Saturday at the McDermott Center.

"Exciting to be playing at home again," Cardinals coach Carson Cunningham said. "SIUE is a tough squad, with a veteran power forward and veteran point guard leading the charge. We know the game presents us with a big challenge. The fellas have been practicing hard and are eager to test themselves on Saturday."
