Biography

2020-21 (Sophomore): Appeared in 15 games with nine starts while battling an injury…led the team with 107 rebounds (16 offensive, 91 defensive), 13 blocks and second on the team averaging 8.3 points per game to help Cardinals to first Southland Conference Tournament appearance in program history…recorded his first career double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) at Texas State on Dec. 5…added two more double-double efforts with a career-high 20-points and 13-rebound game against McMurry on Jan. 1 and a 12-point, 13-rebound game at Lamar on Feb. 3…a 52.0% shooter (53-for-102) and 73.1% from the free throw line (19-for-26), also dished out 13 assists and produced eight steals.
 
2019-20 (Freshman): Appeared in 29 games with 14 starts at forward…scored 170 points on 53.3% (64-for-120) shooting from the field and 63.6% (42-for-66) from the free throw line…added 109 rebounds (32 offensive, 77 defensive), 20 assists, 16 steals and 14 blocks on the season…scored ten or more points in five games, nearly recording a double-double (ten points, nine rebounds) in the final game of the season against Abilene Christian…scored a career-best 19 points and added seven rebounds leading all scorers against New Orleans on Jan. 11…scored 14 points and season-best four blocks against Northwestern State on Jan. 8.
 
High School: Played  Froya Basket of the BLNO, Norway's premier professional basketball league...started in 29 of 32 games for his club…averaged 13 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, one steal and one block per game...a member of the 2017 U18 Euro Championship team for Norway, who went 5-0 on its way to a gold medal in the "C" division... averaged 15.5 minutes, 5.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in the tournament …recorded an eight-point, nine-rebound and three-block performance in Norway's 108-49 defeat of Moldova in the semifinals.

Personal: The son of Lars Anders Larsson and Runa-Helene Larsson of Oslo, Norway... father played basketball professionally in Sweden's second division...grandfather, Lars Gustav Larsson, played hockey in the Swedish elite league...aunt, Iren Iversen, was a member of the Norwegian national handball team...a psychology major.

He has played in his home country's premier league, as well, and now he is eager to ply his craft on American hardwood with his new Cardinal teammates. He's a committed student and athlete and we are excited to welcome him to our storied institution."
