SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team will attempt to record their third-consecutive victory on Wednesday as the squad welcomes Nicholls to The Convo for a 5:30 p.m. battle on Senior Day.

A win over the Colonels (8-17, 5-9 SLC) would give the Cardinals (8-18, 6-9 SLC) seven Southland Conference victories, equaling the number of league wins the program registered over its first three years of transition to NCAA Division I combined.

SERIES HISTORY
Nicholls holds a 4-2 advantage in the all-time series with UIW. The programs split last year's two-game series. The Colonels stole a 66-64 victory on Jan 30 in San Antonio, before the Cardinals earned a 63-61 win on Feb. 3 in Thibodaux, La. UIW picked up a 78-52 victory when the teams met earlier this season on Dec. 31 in Thibodaux.
