SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season. The 10-game slate includes three home contests and seven games on the road.

The Cardinals will open the season on the road Nov. 3, traveling to Tulsa before returning to Texas for a three-game road trip. UIW will face UTEP on Nov. 7, UTSA on Nov. 11 and North Texas on Nov. 14. The four-game stretch features three American Athletic Conference opponents, with Tulsa and North Texas tying for the conference's third-best record last season at 11-7. UTSA finished close behind with a 9-9 conference record.

UIW will host its home opener against Texas State on Nov. 17 at the Alice P. McDermott Convocation Center. The Cardinals will then travel to College Station to face Texas A&M on Nov. 21. The Aggies finished 10th in the SEC standings last season, but were among the First Four out of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament last year. 

The Cardinals will host a pair of non-Division I opponents at home, welcoming Texas A&M Kingsville on Nov. 23 before playing Our Lady of the Lake on Nov. 29. 

Conference play will begin for the Cardinals on Dec. 3, before they wrap up their non-conference game at SMU on Dec. 23.
