UIW Set for Tuesday Home-Opener Against Eastern Michigan

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the McDermott Convocation Center for a Tuesday night home-opener against Eastern Michigan at 5:30 p.m.

The Cardinals (0-4) enter Tuesday's matchup in search of their first victory of the 2016-17 season, while the Eagles (2-4) look to rebound from a heartbreaking 58-57 loss to Northern Colorado in the final seconds on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears sank the ensuing free throw to complete the four-point play and steal the victory.
