SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The University of the Incarnate Word women's basketball team opens their home schedule on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. against cross town rival Our Lady of the Lake.

The Cardinals (2-0) are fresh off a perfect start to the season with a pair of victories at the St. Edward's Shootout over the weekend.  Ify Mora (Grand Prairie/Arlington Bowie HS) was named the tournament MVP after averaging 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.5 steals per game.  Lauren McKinney (Grand Prairie/Arlington Bowie HS) was also named to the all-tournament team after averaging 15.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.  They won both of their games by double figures.

The Saints (2-0) have also started the season well with victories over Northern New Mexico and UT-Pan American.  Chelsea Solis is the team's leading scorer with 14.5 points per game and she has connected on 9-of-19 from three-point range for the season.
