This week’s UIW Female Athlete of the Week honor goes to UIW Volleyball’s, Bryaunea Hall. The sophomore middle blocker from Copperas Cove helped the Cardinals get two Southland Conference wins during the week, a four-set win over Southeastern Louisiana and a three-game sweep over New Orleans.  She is now eligible for the year end UIW Female Athlete of the Year award that will be voted on by UIW coaches and athletic administrators.

Hall’s terrific week included a 13-kill match against Southeastern Louisiana, in which she collected a .455 attack percentage and one block.  Hall then had the exact same numbers against New Orleans.  She had 13 kills and an attacking percentage of .455 just a few days later in the win over New Orleans.  She added five total blocks in the match, giving her a total of 26 kills, and six blocks for the week.
