Autumn Lockley
 
After hoisting the Cardinals on her back with her attacking play, Autumn Lockley is this week’s UIW co-Female Athlete of the Week. This selection will put her in the running for Female Athlete of the Year. The award will be voted on by the Sports Administration and the UIW coaches at the end of the year.

In the contest against the Lamar Cardinals, Lockley had another great performance. She had a third of the team’s kills in the match, 20 of 62 and a .386 attack percentage. She also added a block and 13 digs.  Earlier in the week, she had 23 kills and a .390 attack in a four set loss at Abilene Christian.  She now has at least 20 kills in 3-of-6 Southland Conference matches this year.
 
Lockley is a freshman outside hitter from Leander, TX who is studying rehabilitative sciences.  This is the second time she has won the UIW Female Athlete of the Week award this year.
