In a two-game week for the Incarnate Word women’s basketball team Kosy Mora posted a career high and a double-double to become the UIW female athlete of the week for February 3 to February 9.
 
Her career high was 14 rebounds against Houston Baptist.  Those rebounds went with her 15 points for her second double-double of the season.
 
In the week she shot the basketball at a high rate going 9-18 from the field for .500.  Those totals included 1-2 from three-point range.  At the free throw line she was 4-7 for .571.
 
Over the two games her averages were 11.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.0 steals.
 
Mora is a senior guard from Arlington Bowie High School.  At UIW she is studying biology and pre-med.  Recently she was voted Capital One Academic All-District with her cumulative 4.0 grade point average.
 
She now will be on the ballot at the end of year when UIW coaches and athletic administrators select a female athlete of the year.
