Jada Ashford's bronze medal in the 50 Yard Freestyle highlighted the Incarnate Word Women's Swimming and Diving Team's Day 2 at the MSPF Conference Championships.

The Cardinals have totaled 171 team points through 16 events, placing them 9th in the championships.

Notable Results:

• Jada Ashford posted a time of 22.90 seconds in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle, claiming a third-place finish.
• Ashford, Kirstin Schauss, Harmonee Freelon, and KC Nwaeze teamed up to place 8th in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
• Lauren Matula, Blanca Sanz, and Tehani Molina each scored team points for Incarnate Word in the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle, placing second, fifth, and eighth in the Bonus Final segment of the event.

The women's swimming and diving team resume the MSPF Conference Championships on Friday, February 27th with a full day of events. Prelims start at 10:00 a.m. with finals continuing through the evening session.
