The Incarnate Word Women's Swimming & Diving Team wrapped-up the first day of the 2026 MPSF Swimming & Diving Championship with participation in just two events on the day.

The first Women's race of the day, the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay, was the same event that UIW narrowly missed winning in last year's MPSF Championship. This year's championship field was a bit more full as the relay team of Laney Skrobanek, Jada Ashford, Kirstin Schauss, and KC Nwaeze placed sixth with a near-identical time of 1:42.12.

Later in the evening, UIW's relay team of Addy Wilson, Blanca Sanz, Lauren Matula, and Tehani Molina placed ninth in the Women's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay.

A full slate of events are scheduled for Thursday as the Cardinals women look to earn podium finishes and secure their spots in finals over the upcoming days.
