Football Scheduled For Matchup With Baylor

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of the Incarnate Word Football team announced that it will take on Baylor University on Sept. 4, 2027 in Waco, Texas.

This comes as the Cardinals continue to roll out their competitive non-conference schedule over the next few seasons. UIW is set to take on North Dakota State in the 2026 and 2028.

Whiel the he Cardinals opened the 2025 season against a Southland foe, they are currently 1-0 in non-conference games this year after getting a 31-21 win over Eastern Washington. Next week they will compete in the Hometown Showdown against UTSA, with games against Northern Arizona and Abilene Christian.
