SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team concludes its season with a home battle against Abilene Christian at 4:15 p.m. (CT) Saturday at the McDermott Center.
"We are excited to put on a spirited performance one last time this season at home for our fantastic fans and incredible band," Cardinals coach Carson Cunningham said. "We do not take for granted the great opportunity we have to represent Incarnate Word while playing the beautiful game of basketball. Hope to see everyone there."

The Cardinals were nearly perfect from the free-throw line, shooting 25-26 (96.2 percent) against HBU on Wednesday.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
- Abilene Christian is 19-11 and 14-5 in Southland Conference play. The Wildcats had won seven straight games before falling to SFA on Tuesday at home, 77-72.
- Boasting the top-ranked defense in the league, the Wildcats allow 65.2 points per game and a conference-best 29 percent opponent 3-point shooting percentage.
- ACU is equally dangerous on offense, posting a top-6 ranking in points per game (76.0), field goal percentage (44.9) and free-throw percentage (74.4).
- Senior guard Peyton Ricks leads the Wildcats in scoring with 14.4 points per game as well as 3-pointers made with 83.
- Redshirt junior Kolton Kohl leads the team in rebounds with 4.4 per game. The 7-footer also is third on the team in scoring with 9.8 points per contest.
- Sophomore guard Damien Daniels is ACU's top facilitator, dishing out a team-best 3.1 assists per game.
