Men's soccer hosts GCU
SAN ANTONIO—The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team opens Western Athletic Conference play on Sunday, hosting Grand Canyon University at 7 p.m. (CT) at Benson Stadium.

THE CARDINALS
	- Carlos Guerrero has a team-high 14 shots, including six shots on goal.
- Carlos Mercado leads the team with 15 saves. 
- UIW's record is now 0-5-1 following a 2-0 loss against Dayton on Sept. 15.
SCOUTING THE LOPES
	- GCU's record is now 3-4 after a 1-0 loss against Akron on Thursday.
- Josh Drack leads the Lopes with 21 shots, including seven shots on goal.
- George Tasouris, who has a team-high 32 saves, was named Defensive Player of the Week by the WAC on Sept. 17.
UP NEXT
The Cardinals travel to Colorado to face the Air Force Academy on Thursday. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. (CT) at the Cadet Soccer Stadium.
