Women's Golf Places Second at PGA Minority Collegiate Tournament
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The University of the Incarnate Word women's golf team ended its 2018 season at the PGA Minority Collegiate Tournament on Sunday, finishing second.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Charlotte Davis led the way for the Cardinals, shooting rounds of 74, 77 and 72 for 223 (+7).
Dabin Cleary competed in the individual competition for the Cardinals. She placed sixth with rounds of 80, 81 and 86 for 247 (+31).
The Cardinals shot rounds of 317, 314 and 299 for a total of 930 (+66). UIW finished ahead of Chicago State, Delaware State, Governors State, Texas A&M-Kingsville, University of Houston-Victoria, and North Carolina A&T.
Bethune Cookman won the Minority Collegiate, shooting rounds of 297, 307 and 299 for a 903 (+39). North Carolina A&T finished third, with a 941 (+77).
