Biography
2016-17 (Junior): Frerking played in eight tournaments over her Junior campaign, including leading the Cardinals to a first place finish in the Lady Cardinals Classic. Frerking finished second in the tournament. She shot 217 (+4) with her lowest round coming in round two with a 72. Frerking also placed second in the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Tournament, turning in 5 birdies on the day. In the SLC Championship Frerking would tie her season low in rounds coming in with a 72. Madison has a total of five top 25 finishes on the year.
At Southern Illinois: Set program records for lowest season average and lowest career average in 2014-15 (79.58) and 2015-16 (79.25)... Earned four top-10 finishes in 2014-15 and two top-10 finishes in 2015-16... Named a WGCA Scholar All-America in 2014-15 and 2015-16... Earned OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll honors in 2014-15 and 2015-16... Named to the Deans Honor Roll in 2014-15 and 2015-16... Earned the OVC Academic Medal of Excellence in 2015-16.
At Blue Springs South: Lettered all four years of high school... Earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Metro and All-Area First Team honors... Named to the Principal's Honor Roll... Member of DECA Marketing and FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America).
Personal: Daughter of Darren and Kara Frerking, Madison has three siblings, Nichole, Emily and Jacob... A Business major, Frerking was born on July, 17 and grew up in Kansas City, Mo. before moving to Texas.
