SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The beginning of the 2016 University of the Incarnate Word football season is less than a month away and fans can start purchasing single game tickets on Friday.

The Cardinals will play six home games at Benson Stadium this fall, opening the September 3^rd home contest against former Lone Star Conference rival Texas A&M-Kingsville.  The next two home game come against a pair of 2015 FCS playoff teams, McNeese on September 24 and Sam Houston State on October 8.  The Cardinals will also play Southland Conference foes Stephen F. Austin (Oct. 29), Southeastern La. (Nov. 5) and Houston Baptist (Nov. 19).

Single game tickets will go on sale Friday, August 5 at 10 a.m.  Tickets will start at $12.00 and can be purchased online at www.uiwtickets.com or by calling the UIW Ticket Office at 210-805-3000.
