BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – Fresh off a win over St. John's on Friday, the University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team will try to go 2-0 on their trip to New York City on Tuesday when they play LIU-Brooklyn at 6 p.m. (CST) at the Barclays Center.
Tuesday's game is one of the final tune ups for the Cardinals (4-5) before they start Southland Conference play on January 2. The team is averaging 77.0 points per game and shooting 41.6 percent from the field. They are allowing 74.9 points per game and forcing 17.7 turnovers per contest.

Derail Green (Houston/Klein Forest HS) chips in with 10.3 points per game after pouring in 24 against St. John's.
LIU-Brooklyn is 5-4 on the season including a 75-69 loss on Friday to Sam Houston State of the Southland Conference. The Blackbirds are averaging 75.3 points per game while allowing 77.6 per game.
As a team, the Blackbirds are shooting 42.3 percent from the field and they have made 6.7 three-pointers per game. They are led by the trio of Jerome Frink, Aakim Saintil and Martin Hermannsson. Frink is averaging 16.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, Saintil is at 15.4 points and 4.9 assists per game and Hermannsson chips in with 14.6 points and 4.0 assists per game.
