2014-15 (Freshman):  Walker took UIW by storm as he had a very successful freshman campaign starting 24 games and averaging over 13 points a game.  He scored over 20 points in seven games and had a season high 30 points against UTEP on December 30. Walker led the team with 19 points in the win at Nebraska and followed up that game with 22 points in a win over Grand Canyon.  He opened his career by scoring in double figures in nine straight games and was averaging 17.0 points per game before spraining his ankle against Nicholls on February 10.  He was named the Southland Conference Player of the Week on December 16.   He was named the College Sports Madness Southland Player of the Week on three occasions (Nov. 24, Dec. 15, Feb. 2).  After his great season, Walker was named Southland Freshman of the Year by College Hoops Daily.  He knocked down 48 three-pointers during the season and was one of the top free throw shooters in the conference at 85.7 percent.

High School:  Walker led West Aurora High School to the Hinsdale Supersectional and the Illinois Class 4A state tournament as a junior.  He averaged 17.4 points and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 39 percent from three-point range and 81 percent at the foul line that year.  As a senior he earned first team IHSA All-State honors after averaging 23.3 points per game while shooting 90 percent from the foul line.  He was the Beacon-News Player of the Year in 2013-14.  He graduated as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,772 points.  He owns school records for most three-pointers in a career (189), most three-pointers in a season (77), most career free throws and most free throws made in a row.  He led the team to three Regional titles, two Sectional titles and one conference championship.  He played under legendary head coach Gordon Kerkman.

Personal:  Walker is the son of Johnny and Shamica Walker and is studying kinesiology.  He has a brother, Johnny and a sister, Jonica.  He was born on November 6, 1995.
