The two teams battled swapping 3-pointers, 12 were made between the squads. and the game was tied with 4:05 to go. However, UIW went scoreless for more than three minutes down the stretch. This allowed the Lumberjacks to take full control of the game and walk away with a 76-68 victory.
Â
UIW finished the season 12-19 overall and 7-15 in Southland Conference play. This is the second double-digit win season for Shane Heirman, and the first time the Cardinals have had back-to-back winning seasons in almost 10 years.
