LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA
– The Southland Conference will offer a two-hour football preview show as part of the league's annual football media day Wednesday, which will be carried nationally on ESPN3 at 7 p.m. CT. The 2014 Southland Media Day will take place at L'auberge Resort in Lake Charles, La.
"Media Day signals an unofficial start to the 2014 football season," Southland Conference assistant commissioner for television Chris Mycoskie said. "With three Southland schools coming off playoff appearances, and three new teams in the fold, there is plenty to be excited about."
Coaches and student-athletes from all 11 Southland football-playing institutions will participate. The program will be hosted by Lincoln Rose, the play-by-play announcer for Southland football broadcasts on ESPN3, and Erin Cofiell, a sideline reporter on the Southland Conference Television Network.
ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of exclusive sports events annually. It is accessible online at
