Incarnate Word hosts Midwestern State in football on Saturday (October 1) and the game will be aired live from Benson Stadium by Time Warner Cable (TWC).
The telecast begins at 7 p.m. on TWC's Texas Channel and UIW fans in the San Antonio area can catch the action over digital Channel 888.
There is a bonus to the agreement between TWC, UIW, and Midwestern State. Time Warner Cable's local On Demand channels across the state can catch the game on replay.
“We're pleased and excited that Time Warner Cable will be airing our game against Midwestern State,” said University of the Incarnate Word President Dr. Louis J. Agnese Jr. “This is a great opportunity for us to reach audiences in Texas that are unfamiliar with Incarnate Word.”
The Texas Channel, which launched in the fall of 2010, is available to all Time Warner Cable digital customers at no additional cost and features local sports, music, outdoors and Texas-centric programming.
