The Incarnate Word men's soccer team lost to St. Edward's University, 2-0, on Wednesday afternoon in a battle for first place in the Heartland Conference.

The Hilltoppers scored a goal in each half, despite being outshot 20-9 by the Cardinals (6-5-3, 4-2-0).

UIW's next game will be back at home at Gayle & Tom Benson Stadium on October 30th at 8:15 p.m. against Texas-Permian Basin.
