SAN ANTONIO - The University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team travels to Houston Christian University's (HCU) home pitch for an Ohio Valley Conference game this Friday, Oct. 24, at 7:00 p.m.

CARDINALS
The Cards and Huskies have 17 games under their belt, spanning over 11 years of competition. UIW has a slight edge over HCU in its all-time record (7-6-4), and their last encounter ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Cards sit at the bottom of the OVC standings with a 0-4-3 record (4-6-5 total).
The Cardinals continue to generate more offensive opportunities than their opponents in the first half. In six of the total seven conference games, UIW has eclipsed more shots on goal than opposing clubs in the first half of play (39-33).
PLAYERS TO WATCH
- Giovanni Padilla still holds the most assists on the team (4). The Cardinal defender continues to contribute to both sides of the pitch, only missing one game this campaign. In games where Padilla has an assist, the Cardinals are 3-0-1.
- Diego Robles continues to lead the Cardinals in goals (4) and is second in assists (2). Five weeks ago, he lit a spark within the team with a goal from about 15 yards out to help tie against HCU 1-1. Robles received a good look from an assist by Giovanni Padilla.
- Noe Robles is right behind Diego Robles with three goals and one assist this season.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- The Houston Huskies are 8-5-1 this season (3-3-1 OVC) with a 5-1 home field record. They've outscored opponents 8-2 in that span.
