BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – University of the Incarnate World junior forward Diego Robles has been named to the 2026 OVC Men's Soccer Preseason Players to Watch List, the league announced on Thursday morning.

Last year, Robles led the team with five goals, scoring 31 percent of the team's 16 goals on the season. He started in all 18 games for the Cardinals, opening the season with a game-winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Pacific on Aug. 21. He posted a combined 31 shots with 18 shots on goal last season, tallying 12 points and two assists.

Ahead of his junior season, Robles was named the USL League Two 2026 Golden Boot winner, finishing the regular season at West Texas FC with 16 goals. He was responsible for 62 percent of the club's 26 goals this season. He recorded three game-winning goals and one game-tying goal, proving to be a key contributor in crucial moments. The Texas native had five performances with two or more goals, including a four-goal game against the Fort Worth Vaqueros FC, that sent him atop the league's scoring leaderboards.
