The Incarnate Word women's track and field team had two top-10 finishes on Friday at the 44 Farms Team Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M.

Lexie Leal placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles, posting a time of 1:00.98. Dasya Tolbert finished 12th in the event, coming in about one second behind Leal, in 1:01.97.

Jai'Lin King secured the other top-10 result, with her jump of 5.75 meters placing her ninth in the long jump.

Gia Booth competed in both discus and hammer throw for the Cardinals, finishing 14th and 20th, respectively with distances of 44.39 meters and 42.80 meters.

Incarnate Word resumes the 44 Farms Team Invitational from College Station, TX tomorrow, April 11th.
