SUGAR LAND, TX. – The Incarnate Word women's golf team worked its way around a tough Riverbend Country Club on the final day of the Riverbend Intercollegiate to card a 320 (+32) and finish 16th overall.

The Cardinals shot a 956 (+92) in the three-round tournament, turning in scores of 317 (+29) and 319 (+31) before the 320 (+32) today. 

Jordan Sandoval, after rounds of 78 (+6) and 77 (+5) on Monday, carded a four-over, 76 in the final round to place her in a tie for 43rd at +15 for the tournament.

Maria Jose Ramirez followed with an 83 (+11) on the day, bringing her tournament score to +20 for a 59th-place finish.

Incarnate Word remains in the Lone Star State next week when the team travels to Austin, Texas, to compete in the Betsy Rawls Invitational hosted by the University of Texas at the University of Texas Golf Club.
