WOODLAND, CA. – On Thursday, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) office announced its 2026 Artistic Swimming Annual Awards, naming Incarnate Word sophomore
Marloes Steenbeek the 2026 High-Point Champion.
Steenbeek collected an MPSF-high of 64 championship points to earn her second-straight first-team all-conference honor.
On day one of the championship, Steenbeek posted two individual MPSF victories, winning the Tech 'A' event (83.1038) and defending her conference solo title (225.6813). She was also part of the third-place team event (185.5783) and fourth-place UIW trio routine (210.8416) on day two.
Steenbeek becomes the first student-athlete, outside of Stanford, to earn the MPSF's High-Point award. She is the second artistic swimmer from UIW to earn any major annual award (Maria Bofill Strub, 2024-MPSF Freshman of the Meet).
In addition to Steenbeek's all-conference nod, Incarnate Word junior Maria Bofill Strub and freshman Fernanda Carmona Vasquez were also named to the all-conference first team, while senior Lauren Bell and freshman Xenia De La Puente earned second team honors.
Incarnate Word moves on to the NCAA South Regionals on Sunday, March 1, in Fork Union, Va., before concluding its season on March 27-28, in the U.S. Artistic Swimming Collegiate National Championships at Avery Aquatic Center on the campus of Stanford University.
