STANFORD, CA. – The University of the Incarnate Word artistic swimming program opened competition in the 2026 MPSF Artistic Swimming Championships on Saturday morning. This year's multi-day event is being hosted by Stanford University at the Avery Aquatic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Incarnate Word opened the meet with a strong showing in Tech A as Marloes Steenbeek claimed first place with a score of 83.1038, nearly four points ahead of the next closest competitor.
• Steenbeek followed with another individual title in the solo event, taking the crown with a score of 225.68, a 27-point margin over the rest of the field.
• In the duet, Maria Strub Bofill and Fernanda Carmona Vasquez teamed together for a third-place finish.
