SAN ANTONIO – The University of the Incarnate Word softball team will play its third conference series of the season this weekend when Stephen F. Austin comes into town. The Cardinals will play a single game on Friday at 3 p.m. CT and follow that up with a double header with games at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT.

- The Cardinals have been dominant to open conference play, winning series against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Nicholls, getting a run rule win in each series.
- UIW has the second ranked pitching staff in the SLC, allowing the second fewest runs (83) and hits (155) in the conference this season.
