SAN ANTOINO – The University of the Incarnate Word men's basketball team controls its own destiny in the final two games of the season. The Cardinals will first face off against East Texas A&M at 2:15 p.m. CT on Saturday. In the final game of the regular season UIW will take on Northwestern State at 6:30 p.m. on Monday night.

- The Cardinals only need to win one of their final two games of the year to secure a spot in the conference tournament.

- Addison Patterson is just out of the top 10 in the SLC for average points, sitting at 11th with 13.1.
- Patterson also has seventh most assists in the Southland with 87.
- Willie Wole is grabbing an average 7.3 rebounds per game which is good for third best in the Southland.
