SAN ANTONIO - The University of the Incarnate Word swimmer,
Spyros Kranias, was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Male Swimmer of the Week for the first time in his Cardinal Career.
The Cardinals took on the Trinty Tigers on Senior Day in their last and only home swim meet of the 2024-2025 season. The grad student, Spyros, swam in two individual races, taking first in the 200-fly with a time of 1:52.24 minutes and making another first place finish in the 100 free going 46.67. On the 200 free relay Spyros split 20.32 and in the 200 medley he went a blazing 24.7 in the 50 breast.Â
The next time Spyros will be in action is in a couple of week when UIW heads to the MPSF championship Feb. 19-22.Â
